This game is not just a game....but a work of art. The story telling blended perfectly with the gameplay. Knowing this was somewhat based of Stephen King's "The Mist" made it lack in originality...but still overall...this was one hell of a game. The visuals and audio were great, and the characters were really well drawn out and much thought put into them. You really had a sense of emotion for what these characters were feeling.

Overall this was an excellent game with excellent quality in graphics, audio, sound and acting.

10/10 nice job!

This game is really, really good. I was hoping the sequel would pop up sooner or later =). Very well put together...the music and the ambiance really had me at the edge of my seat. The girl at the beginning when you open the door....awesome.

I eagerly await part 3!!!! =)

"A Great Sequel"

This is one time I can actually say the sequel was better than the original. Like the first this is a fantastic flash movie and once again alot of drama and action without anyone saying anything. I found myself filling in the blank spots and making names for certain characters at times.

I saw many nods to Dawn of the Dead and Left 4 Dead which imo worked out great in this flash. The ending was epic and I was surprised by the final few swconds of hte end. I anxiously await the 3rd. installment of this series!!

This video is one of the best Flash videos I've seen on NewGrounds in a very long time. It has a wide range of emotions without anyone saying a word at all. The actions spoke louder than words in this movie. You never really could say such and such characters were the main characters because anyone was fair game and could die at any moment. I truly enjoyed this fantastic job!

It was good....the music was awesome and the fighting was alright...the controls were a bit unresponsive though....and when you got backed up in a corner it was like you couldn't attack for some reason =/...

"Scary as hell...but.........."

Fantastic job on this game....At first the colored visuals threw me off, but the more I walked around and looked at the rooms I began to like them. However I do miss the gritty, dark and terriftying sense of the dark grey colors from the previous game.

Scare factor in this game is unbelievable!!! I have never jumped more times while playing a Flash game then I did while playing this. This game had the hairs on my arms and neck standing up the whole time. The death scenes were NICE and scary. One scene I must greatly applaud you for is after you get the key from the fire and in the hallway the things are pertruding out of the wall...then moments later BAM the monster comes from the window.....fantastic job...really scared the hell out of me...the doll room was really scary as well ;).

The overall visuals of the game were good...as i said earlier next time I advise going back to the original style of the first game; gritty, raw, and a feeling of true terror and darkness. The seeing of many more monsters and weird, creepy things coming out at you of the walls made me think, "dear God what is going on here??". The nightmare sequence at the beginning was very well made as well.

I also enjoyed how it showed and said that you already solved various puzzles the previous day...that was a simple, yet detailed touch and made me really feel trapped =).

Sound was PERFECT....i heard more creepy moans, growls, glass shattering and whispers i've ever heard in any game (Except Silent Hill ;) ). I was at the edge of my seat the whole time and especially in the kitchen when you sit there for a minute and hear the glass shatter than a growl of some sort..oh my god!!! great job there!!

BUT......
My BIGGEST complaint is simply....how the hell does it end??? I solved the last puzzle correctly and everything.....but nothing happens....as stated in previous reviews the only way I know it ends is by going back to the "safe room" and reading the Walkthrough and it tells me that it's over....wtf??? I'm not only upset by it, but dissapointed. The first game and then this was AMAZING...i mean really well made....BUT you really brought it down with not making the ending or something at least???? I do hope it's explained in the 3rd. game (if it will ever be made, i hope so!) as to what exactly happened that 2nd. night in the house after solving the puzzle.

Good game overall...just badly hurt with the mess up of no ending! come on!!!!

Hope to see the thrid one soon...and yes..i love how you coupled Alexander Poe's The Raven into the game as well...one of my all time favorite Poems =)...

"Surprisingly Good..."

At first I was a bit skeptic...the way you commented it and the way it started out (before I got into any rooms) had me saying "not going to be to good"....BUT...and that's a great big BUT....I was blown away...the dolls scared the hell outta' me and once I walked into the first room on the bottom right out in the main hall and whatever it was jumped out and shrieked i jumped big time!! I was hooked then. I like how you incorporated the walkthrough into the game, but even better was how you set up the walkthrough to where it explained what you were supposed to do..but at the same time you made it to where yo ustill had to figure it out....thanks for the hints ;). The Marble puzzle had me really thinking....took me a bit....but I finally figured it out..i really wanted to solve it on my own...(kudos to me ^_^). Finally the last puzzle with the 7 deadly sins was really good too...the ending however kinda made me want something to happen...but I can see what your trying to do and build everything up to a big climax...nice touch.

The overall atmosphere and feel of the game was good as well...not as intense as others...but was still very gripping at moments like with the TV, that made me jerk slightly. Good visuals and great sound....the bedroom was really well created with the screaching sound and howling.

Nice Job, good game...bout to go and play Day 2............=)
